I've always wanted to be a writer, ever since I was little.

Well, that, and Batman.

If it's not work-related, I have a hard time with completing things. I love starting new projects, but, my follow-through leaves something to be desired.

For years (and I mean YEARS), I've been kicking around a murder-mystery (writing one, that is. Not being the center of one). But while the project is off the ground, it always seems to crash before reaching its final destination.

If you're a reader of this blog, then you know I recently finished a 24-part series on my plastic surgery journey. I'm not sure which amazes me more, that I actually wrote about my surgical experiences to begin with, or that I actually brought it to some sort of completion.

Since it's a blog, I tried to keep my posts fairly short, while still trying to tell a complete story.  Ever since I started the series, I've gotten nothing but positive feedback on it.

Several people have inquired, "When are you going to turn it into a book?"

I have decided that time is now.

The venture has given me some long-awaited, much-needed energy. Last night, I turned Part 1 of the series into Chapter 1, and moved another part of the series and designated it as, you guessed it, Chapter 2.

I'll keep you posted (pardon the pun) on my progress. Wish me luck.
